Dr. Marlon is a father to a little boy. They both enjoy walks on a nice, sunny day, playing, dancing, along with much more. Dr. Marlon personally loves singing, dancing, helping pets through medicine, teaching clinical medicine to his undergraduate interns/technicians aspiring to go to Veterinary School, traveling, and meeting several different types of people.

Dr. Marlon Sequeira is a local of Winston-Salem, NC and spent most of his youth in the area.  Combining his love for animals and science, he attended The North Carolina School of Science & Mathematics, and subsequently, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Biochemistry and eventually moving to upstate New York, earning his Veterinary Medical Degree (DVM) from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, Dr. Marlon worked in a high volume, quality small animal general practice hospital in Raleigh/Wake Forest (training in medicine and surgery), before opening up his own mobile veterinary practice for 6+ years and recently, a full veterinary hospital in North Raleigh.

As an Eagle Scout, he truly believes in the motto, “Be Prepared,” as seen in his thorough history taking, physical examinations, client education. He has experience working in a kennel at the age of 15, general practice and emergency technician for several summers afterwards, and as a passionate veterinarian.

Dr. Marlon started his own mobile practice 10+ years ago, and exhibits his passion for helping animals through medicine. From his mobile practice to a full veterinary hospital currently in Raleigh for 3+ years, he always treats every patient as if they were his own. He has a deep respect for creating a great & enriching teaching/learning environment for his mentees.  Currently, Dr. Marlon lives in the North Raleigh area with their 3 year old Havanese "forever puppy", "Starling" and their 1 year old handsome son "Niam Luca Sequeira."
